Like Father Hymns of Praise and Need
|
with Nat Chandler, David Schrader playing the Schantz organ at First Baptist Church Greenwood, Greenwood, South Carolina
Far from Schrader's usual classical recordings, and far from Chandler's light opera and musical theater, this recording includes many great hymns of the old South, old England, a nod to Martin Luther, and a very special duet of "In the Garden" with Nat's father, Tom Chandler. David Schrader plays the mighty Schantz organ at First Baptist Church Greenwood, Greenwood, South Carolina, the church Nat attended as a child and of which he remains a member.
