The Fortepiano

Built by Rodney Regier of Freeport, Maine in 1978.  Revised in 1985.  Has new soundboard, strings and action.

Strings are yellow brass to iron.

Range 5 octave plus one note, Contra F to G3.

                    Based on 2 pianos by Walter - one in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, the other in the Nárnberg Museum.

                    Instrument is 87 inches long, 40 inches wide.  Weighs approximately 200 pounds.
